Representing the pinnacle of the JudgCert programme, this highest tier certifies professionals to judge prestigious international floristry competitions. Reserved for the most talented and experienced florists, gaining the ICJFD status serves as the ultimate global standard of expertise and outstanding professionalism. It empowers judges to operate at the absolute highest level of the industry worldwide.

Note on Progression & Validity

JudgCert Progression & Renewal RequirementsCertification Progression Candidates must fully master all national levels before they are permitted to apply for advanced international assessments.

Validity & Renewal GuidelinesA JudgCert certificate is valid for 5 years, starting precisely from the moment it is achieved. To maintain a certified status, judges must track their ongoing experience and accumulate 20 Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points within that 5-year window.

These points must be documented, proven, and distributed as follows:

70% (14 points): Must be collected from core judging activities within CPD Main Categories A, B, and C
30% (6 points): Can be collected through various supportive activities within CPD Main Categories D, E, F, and G.

Continuous Validity & The Portfolio SystemTo ensure a judge's certified status remains entirely continuous and uninterrupted, the program uses a dynamic portfolio system:

Activity Logging:Every validated activity listed in the CPD framework is added to the judge's portfolio.
Rolling Extensions:Because each individual validated activity carries its own 5-year validity period, every new activity logged dynamically extends the overall expiration date of the certificate

Critical Condition for ContinuityCThis continuity is only guaranteed if the judge's portfolio never drops below the required threshold. If at any point the active, non-expired points fall below the minimum baseline (14 points in Categories A-C AND 6 points in Categories D-G), the rolling extension pauses, and continuous validity is lost.

The OutcomeAs long as a judge consistently gathers, logs, and maintains the necessary CPD points so that their total never drops below the indicated threshold, the 5-year window continuously rolls forward, keeping the certification active indefinitely without expiration.
